Application Situation
Corrosion protection required for newly constructed process vessels.
Application Method
The application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflets TCC-3 and TCC-5. Belzona 1522 applied by Plural spray and Belzona 1391 applied by hand to nozzles etc.
Belzona Facts
Belzona lining was specified to protect new process vessels and utility tanks. Based on Belzona track record since the 1990s, the customer opted for a carbon steel shell lined with Belzona rather than stainless steel cladding. During the 2013 inspection, it was reported that the Belzona lining was in excellent condition. Local repairs carried out during the initial application were still in very good condition with no sign of degradation.
