Application Situation
Butterfly valve.
Application Method
First, the water flow was diverted to allow the application. The application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet VPF-1. The surface was prepared with a grinder, emery cloth and wire brush. The valve was locked and Belzona 1221 was applied to stop the leak. After Belzona 1221 cured, Belzona 1111 was applied.

Belzona allowed for the equipment to return to operation with little downtime and did not significantly affect the operations of the plant.
