Application Situation:

Vacuum steam jet ejector handling H20+HCl and Chloride traces. Temperature up to 100°C (212°F). Maximum pressure 13 Bar.

 
 

Problem:

The steam jet ejector was fragmented into many parts and a replacement was not immediately available.

Belzona® 1391 (Ceramic HT)

Application Method:

Application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet PDP-1.

 
 

Belzona Facts:

Application has been in service 24 hours a day for three years. Belzona® 1391 was chosen due to the temperature which could from time to time, go higher. Other steam jet ejectors have been repaired at this facility with Belzona® 4301 (Magma CR1 Hi-Build) with the same excellent results. The replacement - ordered some three years ago - remains in stock.
