Problem: Shell and dished end were highly corroded due to chemical attack that resulted in critical wall thickness reduction in the shell.

Application Method
Application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflets HEX-2 and HEX-3. Belzona® Marine Metal was used to restore the original dimensions then Belzona® 1321 was used to protect the restored area from any further corrosion.
Belzona Facts
Repair completed quickly and safely, thickness of the shell was restored to the original dimensions with no heat and no special tools. As measured weekly, the vessel stopped losing wall thickness, resisting chemical attack and still in excellent condition.
