Process vessels at a Fertilizer Manufacturing facility

Problem:

Extensive pitting corrosion and erosion in bottom of the vessels and around a manway.

Application Method:

Application was carried out in accordance with modified Belzona Know-How System Leaflet TCC-3.

Belzona Facts:

Belzona® 1311/1321 was applied to these vessels 10 years ago. 80% of product was still in excellent shape and was only frost blasted to allow for a new coat. Severe pitting corrosion had occured in areas that were not protected by the Belzona system 10 years earlier.
