Application Situation
Lock and Dam on the Arkansas River
Application Method
The application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet FPA-1. 16 foot 2x4's were drilled and put into place on the dam. Plastic was used as a release agent and the void was filled with Belzona 4111.
Belzona Facts
Concrete was used once before and failed due to the lack of adhesion. A grout repair would take two weeks to cure. This repair allowed the lock to be back in service in one day.
