Application Situation
400,000 sulfuric acid holding tank nozzle.
Application Method
The tank nozzle flange and inside neck area was blasted to prepare its surface for the Belzona coating. Belzona 4301 was used to build the tank nozzle flange back up to its original shape. Two coats of Belzona 4311 were used to coat the flange and the interior of the tank nozzle.

The Belzona products proved to be a quick and cost effective solution to the customer's leaking storage tank. The use of Belzona's product helped prevent long-term damage associated with acid corrosion. This job has allowed the technical consultant to present the customer with a quote for an even larger project.
