Belzona 9341 (Reinforcement Tape)
Belzona 2131 (D & A Fluid Elastomer) | | | Substrate:Stainless Steel. | | | Application Method:The application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflets HEX-6, HEX-13, TCC-12, FPA-6 and a modified version of FPA-7. The substrate was prepared via media blast with Black Beauty, cleaned, taped, and then conditioned with Belzona 2911. Once cured for ½ hour, a two-coat reinforced system of Belzona 2131 was utilized to create a polymer overlay over all assembly seams/joint. Bolt holes and other protrusions were top-dressed with a coating of Belzona 2131. | | | Belzona Facts:Belzona provided a cost effective solution to the leaking tower, allowing for a return to service within 4 days of the beginning of application. | | | Photographs Description
