Problem: The engine and reduction gears of the Propulsion system must align with precision according to strict specifications of the manufacturer and the marine classification societies, besides being placed on secure chocks which maintain the alignment and resist all stress during operation.

Application Situation
Drive system: Engine with 2.250 bHP power and reduction gears in the machine room of the fishing boat.
Application Method
The application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet GSS-12 and Belzona 7111 IFU.
Belzona Facts
The four chocks for the engine and two for the box were carried out by pouring Belzona 7111 which has American Bureau of Shipping certification. Once the product cured completely, it underwent compression with weight and adjustment of anchor bolts maintaining the specified parameters of alignment. It has been proven that Belzona 7111 has a lower cost than other chocking materials.
