Application Situation
Transfer rollers used to move newly formed boards as part of the production line at a particle board plant.
Application Method
The application was carried out in accordance with the IFU for Belzona 5811. The coating was brush applied and the aggregate was spread by hand. 
Belzona Facts
Attempts to use non-slip adhesive tape failed as it was not durable enough. Due to the customer's product jamming the production line, the line would need to shut down to clear boards. This was costly as the product on the steam platen press upstream of the rollers would need to be discarded, and the whole line would be shut down. Inefficient use of man hours to clear the jam would be used as well.
