42" Ductile Iron underground pipe.
Application Method
The application was carried out in accordance with a modified version of Belzona Know-How System Leaflet VPF-5. Belzona 1121 was used to rebuild the pitting. Belzona 5811 was used to coat the internal of the pipe.
Belzona Facts
The cost of the project was $70,000 USD and required a week of downtime for the plant to rebuild the pipe and coat. The Belzona was a much better alternative to the to the cost of over a million dollars to dig the pipe up and replace it with two months of downtime.
