Problem: Customer had been using a temporary pipe wrap which did not offer a permanent solution. Leaking of the pipe was a Health & Safety issue due to the volatility of the Hexane product flowing through the process pipework.

Application Situation
Customer had a through wall leak on a Hexane supply line to their manufacturing process.
Application Method
The application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet VPF-11 application method a). The process plant was isolated and pipework drained before carrying out surface preparation and application of Belzona 1111.
Belzona Facts
Due to the temporary nature of the repair method that they were using, the Belzona solution removed the Health & Safety risk whilst also providing a permanent repair.
