Belzona 1321 (Ceramic S-Metal)

The plate was cut to fit the nozzle and brackets on the tank and was grit blasted prior to going offshore. As an additional protection, Belzona 1321 was applied on top of the plate to prevent future issues with corrosion under insulation.

Belzona Facts:

Reducing the temperature to carry out the surface preparation and the application was only possible over a short period of time. The temperature at the time of the application was dropped down to 40°C. The work was completed over 1 shift which was greatly appreciated by the offshore operator and ensured production could continue with minimal disruption.
