Problem: Existing quarry tiles are wet and sliperry. During summer season there is plenty of people and there was a risk of slipping and injuries. Customer was looking for solution that could solve the slipping problem without the need to close the market.

Application Situation
slippery wet floors in fish market operating in touristic city every day from 6am to 2pm.
Application Method
The application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet FPA-8. Additional Belzona 9211 aggregate was incorporated into the Belzona 5231 for better anti-slip protection.
Belzona Facts
The application on 70 square meters was carried out section by section, over 6 afternoons. This enabled the fish market to operate normally every day. Viable alternative were sealable strips, but they wear out very quickly in these conditions. Other alternatives included closing the market, which was unacceptable for the customer.
