Belzona Seals Leak In Underwater Observation Window

Application Situation:

A leak on the underwater window. 

 
 

Problem:

The underwater observation window had developed a leak.

 
 

Products:

Belzona 2211 (MP Hi-Build Elastomer)

 

Substrate:

Stainless Steel/ Butyl Rubber

 
 

Application Method:

The application was carried out in accordance with a modified berBelzona Know-How System Leaflet FPA-6. The stainless steel surround was prepares using a grinder to achieve a clean rough profile on the metal surface. After masking off the perimeter, a  ⅛ thick rubber tape was used to create a suitable clearance on the inside of the window-sufficient to clear the screw heads.

Belzona Elastomer had been used successfully in similar situation.
