Belzona 4111 (Magma-Quartz) | | | Substrate:Concrete | | | Application Method:All the concrete was cleaned out and where it was not already rough, grinders were used to roughen the substrate. Belzona 4154 was mixed with clean river rock to bulkfill the conduit gap. Once the conduit gap was filled up, Belzona 4154 was mixed with sand and spread out. The bulkfill was top coated with Belzona 4111 for added strength and blend. The application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet FPA-12. | | | Belzona Facts:The customer saved money by repairing with Belzona because of the longevity of the repair. They had “repaired” it several times before, only to fail quickly. It took one day to do the work. Belzona was chosen for the strength of the product, adhesion to the substrate, and quick cure time. Concrete was brought up, but they decided to go with the best, and most cost effective choice of material to repair with. | | | Photographs Description1. Empty conduit gap.
