Problem: The concrete surface of the scale suffered severe damage due to the heavy traffic, weather conditions and leaking of fuel, oil etc. Customer needed to address this problem, but due to intensive production it was impossible to put the truck scale out of use for more than a day or two. Belzona offered to repair the most damaged parts of the scale (where the reinforcement bars are exposed), as a first phase, with possibility to resurface the whole scale in the next phase.

Application Situation

Truck scales operates 12+ hours per day, 6 days per week. Trucks loaded with raw materials and end products areweighed in and out all the time.

Application Method

The application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet FPA-1.

Belzona Facts

Having in mind the fact that truck scale operates 6 days per week there are very few alternatives. Customer was considering building another truck scale beside the old one, but Belzona gave him a better solution.
