Application Situation
Dock was originally constructed in 1876. Access steps in the bottom of the basin required attention.
Application Method
Application was carried out in accordance with Belzona System Leaflet FPA-1. The damaged area was high-pressure cleaned, manually scarified and rebuilt with Belzona 4111. Belzona 4151 was then applied on top in conjunction with marble chips.
Belzona Facts
Repair was performed in 1989 and was then inspected in September 2016. After 27 years of service the repaired steps showed no sign of degradation and were in perfect working order.
