Problem: The substrate concrete was unprotected and the current coating provided no protection and was extremely slippery when wet. This condition could lead to slip injuries and further corrosion of the concrete floors.

Application Situation
The floors of a major local food production facility were beginning to wear away and provided no long-term protection or any type of anti-slip feature.
Application Method
Surface was shot blast / hand grinded to achieve desired surface profile. Belzona 5231 was applied as a base coat and Belzona 9221 was broadcasted. Belzona 5233 was applied as a top coat.

The client tried a multitude of coating without any success. Belzona provided a cumulative solution and was within their budget. The Belzona solution provided slip resistance, grease splatter resistance and durability.
