Application Situation:

Impellor from an irrigation pump.

 
 

Problem:

Due to general erosion/corrosion to this impellor, the customer requested sacrificial coating to protect the equipment.

Belzona® 1341 (Supermetalglide)

 

Substrate:

Bronze

 
 

Application Method:

The application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet CEP-3.

 
 

Belzona Facts:

Recent inspection of the impellor revealed, that after 12 years of hard work following the Belzona® 1341 application, wear is minimal. Although there is a brown deposit left on the impellor from the river, it is very easily removed with a paper towel.
