Leaking expansion joints at digester top

 
 

Problem:

Loss of oxygen rich gas caused customer to re-enrich with oxygen monthly. Design conditions called for re-enrichment only three times per year.

Application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet TCC-12.

 
 

Belzona Facts:

Yearly cost for enrichment dropped from $72,000 to $18,000 after the repairs. This success led to overhaul of several water plant pumps.
