Problem: Sulfur in lignite (coal) combines with water (moisture) to form a weak sulfuric acid that corrodes the conduit.

Application Method
The application was carried out in accordance with a modified version of Belzona Know-How Leaflet GSS-4.
Belzona Facts
If the conduit corrodes, the high voltage electrical cables (4000-6000 volts) inside pose a severe safety issue during cleaning. The Belzona application saved hundreds of thousands of dollars as the alternative to this repair is to run new electrical cables.
