Fan blades of cooling tower - 14' long.

 
 

Problem:

Light damage and erosion on the leading edge of the blades reduces the overall efficiency and operation of the cooling system.

Belzona® 1321 (Ceramic S-Metal)

 

Substrate:

Fiberglass Reinforced Polyester

 
 

Application Method:

The application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How Leaflet HEX-10.

 
 

Belzona Facts:

After 14 months, fiberglass blades on new units needed replacement at a cost of $125,000. Over two years later the Belzona repair is in excellent condition. The plant has saved over $200,000 in new blade replacement cost.
