Application Situation:

Rubber covered pump impeller.

Problem:

Whilst casing had little damage, the impeller vanes were very badly damaged and needed rebuilding.

Application Method:

Application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet SHM-9. Aluminum forms were prepared and Belzona® 2131 poured in to restore profiles. Belzona® 2311 used to reform smaller areas.

The Belzona repairs were cost effective and saved considerable downtime.
