Water / Wastewater (WATR)

Floor Problem Areas (FPA)

Customer Location:

Bedford, UK

Application Date:

August 2017

Application Situation:

The customer's Primary Settlement Tank was unable to operate efficiently and the tank's arm was struggling to rotate, which could have caused further damage to the equipment.

Belzona 2211 (MP Hi-Build Elastomer)

Application Method:

The nosings of the joints were rebuilt using Belzona 4111 and Belzona 2211 used as the expansion joint material. The application was carried out in accordance with Belzona System Leaflets FPA-5 and FPA-7.

Belzona Facts:

The primary settlement tanks' original concrete design failed within four years due to water ingress. Belzona materials are resistant to this type of damage and so will last for many more years to come. This was one of the clients only options to keep the equipment in operation.
