Problem: Water ingress was discovered resulting from failure of the sealing materials between the glazed units, caused by UV attack and constant movement due to thermal expansion.

Application Situation
Long stretch of roof lights over library allowing natural light into the building
Application Method
The application was carried out in accordance with Belzona System Leaflet RPA-3. 
Belzona Facts
The client required a quick, safe and cost effective solution to the water ingress issues. There was the potential for slips on wet floors, water damage to library books and electrical equipment. Removing and replacement of the sealant could have resulted in damaged glazed units, additional time, costs and the danger of falling glass. The work was carried out very successfully over a 15 day period causing minimal disruption and saving the client substantial costs.
