Application Situation
A leaking sour crude tank in an oil field.
This is an oil field in North Florida and they discovered a leaking Sour Crude tank and had to shut down production. There was no money in the budget for a new tank but they were shut down and had to do something quickly.
Application Method
The application was carried out in accordance with TCC-5 Belzona System Leaflet. To seal the leaks and offer the tank some mechanical reinforcement, it was decided to do a strip of SuperWrap II patch all along the side of the 10' tank. Belzona 1111 was used to patch the holes and reinforce the tank, applied by a Belzona Applicator. Two layers of SuperWrap II were applied, one perpendicular and one horizontal to repair the tank.
