Belzona® Repairs And Protects Against Chemical Attack

Application Situation:

Chemicals storage room spill collection trough.



Sulfuric acid and other chemicals were collecting through the years into the trough and severely compromising the integrity of the structure.



Belzona 4141 (Magma-Build)

Belzona 4911 (Magma TX Conditioner)

Belzona 4151 (Magma-Quartz Resin)

Belzona 4131 (Magma-Screed)

Belzona 4311 (Magma CR1)



Concrete and Metal Frames


Application Method:

Application was carried out in accordance with a modified version of Belzona System Leaflets TCC-09, TCC-15 and WPA-04. Damaged concrete was rebuilt and leveled with a slurry mixure of Belzona 4111 and Belzona 4151. Vertical damage was repaired with Belzona 4141. The structure was protected with two coats of Belzona 4311.


Belzona Facts:

Belzona has been previously specified for other projects at the facility and performance has been proven. When new problems arise, the Belzona consultant is regularly asked for a solution. Most of the time the Belzona solution is chosen.
