Problem: The excessive movement in the ground had caused major problems with roof leaks all over the building. This customer provides televised, weekly service broadcasts from this location. The leak stains were becoming visible on the walls.

Application Situation
A church building with geodesic foam and wood truss dome structure that is built on ground that has a great deal of movement.
Application Method
The entire roof area was pressure washed. All the metal repairs were conducted using Belzona 1121. Belzona 3921 was applied to two (2) areas – each 20’ x 40’ and one (1) area – 15’ x 40’ and over metal repair areas. During the overcoat window of Belzona 3921, Belzona 3111 in white was applied at 10 mils thick. Belzona 9311 was wetted out and fully embedded into the base layer of Belzona 3111. Within the overcoat window of the base coat of Belzona 3111, a top layer of Belzona 3111 in white was applied at 6 mils thick.
Belzona Facts
The first application of Belzona 3111 was completed nearly 30 years ago. The original application was at the end of its useful life. The Customer tried other solutions, with no success. After Belzona 3111 was demonstrated to the Customer, It was decided that Belzona was the right solution for the job. Belzona completed another application of 3111 in 2017.
