Application Situation
A failing expansion joint located in a critical hallway near the operating room.
Application Method
The application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet FPA-6. The expansion joint is located next to the operating room, so hepavac double sealed containment was built before work began. After containment was up the old tile and failing area below were removed and Belzona 2221 was poured into place to create a sealed and flexible new joint. The containment was built the day before work started, the removal and application only took one day. The containment was removed the following morning and the hospital was ready for surgeries to begin in that Operating Room.
