Application Situation
HEX end bell and cap at a juice manufacturing facility.   
Application Method
The application was carried out in accordance with modified versions Know-How System Leafles: HEX-2 and HEX-3. Both the end bell and the cap was abrasive blasted to a near white metal finish with an angular profile of 3 mills. Belzona 1511 was used to rebuild the steel substrate for high conditions Belzona 1391T to protect the steel substrate for high heat conditions. 
Belzona Facts
The Customer needed to prolong the service life of a heat exchanger. The alternative was to purchase a new end cap and end Bell for the heat exchanger unit due to it leaking on the sides during operation. The cost-effective solution was to rebuild it with Belzona 1511 and protect it with Belzona 1391T protection system against high heat operation. This long lasting solution has saved the Customer downtime and money for future operation costs.
