Application Situation
Sulphuric acid storage vessel.
Application Method
The application was carried out in accordance with a modified version of Belzona Know-How System Leaflet TCC-5. A thorough abrasive blasting of all metal surfaces of the structure and the tank’s shell was carried out. All sharp parts, i.e. welds and corrosion were leveled. After the degreasing of the surface, the first layer of Belzona 5811 was applied with spraying. Next, another 2 layers of Belzona 5111 were applied in three colours, depending on the part of the structures subjected to painting: gray, blue and yellow.
