Problem:

This compartment filled with air and used for underwater works was badly corroded and needed to be repaired and protected.

Belzona 5811 (Immersion Grade)

Application Method:

The application was carried out in accordance with Belzona System Leaflet SOS-02. After carefully preparing the surface by grit blasting, the most damaged parts of the equipment were repaired by bonding metal plates with Belzona 1161. After that, two coats of Belzona 5811 were applied to protect the whole surface against corrosion.

Belzona Facts:

The customer was really satisfied by the application, especially because it did not require any hot work. A great efficiency and a quick response allowed the distributor to maintain a good relationship with this customer.
