Application Method
The application was carried out in accordance with a modified version of Belzona Know-How System leaflet SOS-12. Any loose rubber was cut away, then the application area was prepared with a roughing brush. Belzona 2211 was then used with a Belzona 9341 reinforcement sheet to reinforce the damaged area.
Belzona Facts
It was more cost-effective to repair the tear in the floating hose than to replace the whole hose. Belzona 2211, a flexible elastomeric material, is designed for this type of repairs. The customer was really satisfied with the quality and speed of the repair. The floating hose was back in service with minimal disruption.
