Application Situation
Two old shower stalls on the boat allowed water to seep behind the stall walls rusting a 24" x 4" hole in the deck & leaked water into the engine room. The bulkhead was rusting badly as well
Application Method
Belzona® 4111 applied in accordance with Belzona System Leaflet FPA-1 & the new shower base & sides installed in front of the repair while the material was still wet.
Belzona Facts
The expensive alternative was to cut out a large chunk of deck plate & bulkhead and weld in new pieces. There was not enough time for this and the expense would have been high.
