Application Situation
Drain nozzle on a 54% phosphoric acid storage tank.
Application Method
A replacement nozzle and a flange were fabricated. Belzona 4301 was applied to the new nozzle and inside the old nozzle. A new nozzle was then inserted, and bolt holes were lined up. Belzona 9341 was used was applied around the joint area to secure it in place, and encapsulates with an additional coat of Belzona 4301. 
Belzona Facts
The replacement of the tank would have cost the Customer over $30,000. They considered replacing as they believed that the tank had been ruined. After seeing the information about Belzona solutions and their capabilities, they decided to give Belzona a try. Belzona solution was a fraction of the replacement cost.
