Problem: The internal surface of this scrubber was badly damaged due to chemical attacks at 90degC (sodium bicarbonate). The equipment presented important holes and needed to be rebuilt and protected, especially as the previous ebonite coating failed.

Application Method

Belzona 1111 was used to rebuild the damaged areas and fill the important holes. Then Belzona 1391S was used to protect the whole application. This application has been carried out according to Belzona system leaflets TCC-3.

Belzona Facts

In December 2017, the application was still in perfect condition.
