Application Situation
Protection of a hawse pipe on a yacht using the a Belzona elastomer. 
Application Method
The internal pipe was prepared using an MBX Bristle Blaster and then cleaned. Belzona 2911 was then used to condition the substrate before 2 coats of Belzona 2131 were applied to prevent further corrosion and wear damage from the chain.
Belzona Facts
The customer chose to go with Belzona as the coating offered good erosion and corrosion resistance even in the presence of sea water which was essential for them.
