Belzona Facts
The plant operates 5 days a week offering minimal opportunities for maintenance. Replacement of the shaft would have taken at least 3 working days and would have required additional labour and equipment costs, not to mention implications involving health and safety.   Belzona was able to offer a repair application over the weekend using under £100 worth of material; saving the client £1000's in equipment replacement costs. This quick response from Belzona ensured there was no loss of production or disruption, allowing the client to continue manufacture on the Monday morning.
2 years on, the shaft is still in service and showing no signs of degradation.
