Belzona Facts
The client selected this simple Belzona repair solution for two reasons. Firstly, because the application could be completed quickly over a weekend ensuring there was no loss of production and minimum disruption to plant operation. The alternative would be a complete replacement which would have resulted in 3 days of downtime. Secondly, a single unit of Belzona 1111 was used along with a forming tool to complete this repair at a fraction of the price of replacement. Saving the client £1000’s in repair costs. Almost two years on, the shaft is still in service and the client is extremely happy with the outcome.
