Application Situation
The customer's drawing shows that the screw tube must be welded with a hard facing CASTOLIN 5006. Screw was used for transporting peat.
Application Method
Application was carried out in accordance with Belzona leaflet SHM-14. Grit blasting was used to prepare the surface, followed by a lining of Belzona 1812
Belzona Facts
Little down time for the customer and saving them money contributed to winning the job. According to the customer feedback, the screws have been working for a year and there is no sign of wear.
