Application Situation

Refurbishment of the external surfaces of several storage tanks.

Application Method

This application was carried out in accordance with Belzona System Leaflet TCC-05. The external surface of the first storage tank was grit blasted to Sa 2.5 before applying 2 coats of Belzona 6111 to provide long term corrosion protection, followed by 2 coats of Belzona 5111 for it's UV resistance. After the success of the first tank refurbishment a further 4 tanks were coated within the ecology park following the same procedure as the first.

Belzona Facts

460 Kg of Belzona 6111 and 210 Liters of Belzona 5111 were used to coat all 5 storage tanks with the ecology park.
