Application Situation:

Natural gas plant raw material gravity separator.

Problem:

The base and top of the separator have been subjected to erosion and corrosion for a long time, and a large amount of pitting corrosion has emerged.

Application Method:

Application carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet TCC-5. Belzona 1111 to repair the pitting defects and then apply Belzona 1321 to complete the application.

Belzona Facts:

The original pitting corrosion of the tank wall was repaired. The base and the head of the separator was protected with Belzona 1321, which effectively improved the erosion-corrosion resistance ability of the gravity separator. After 6 years of service, the coating is still integrated and the thickness stays the same.
