Application Situation:

Lubricating oil pipeline；Diameter is 250mm; Normal operating pressure is 2MPa while instantaneous pressure could be up to 5MPa.

Corrosion under insulation(CUI).

Application Method:

Application carried out in accordance with Belzona System Leaflet VPF-11 using Belzona SuperWrap II technology with installers, supervisors and designers who had been fully validated trained with this system. The first step is rebuilding corroded area by using Belzona 1111 to restore the original profile of pipelines. Then use Belzona SuperWrap II to restore and improve the strength of pipelines.

Belzona SuperWrap II supports on-site application with minimal downtime required and avoids replacement of pipelines. The entire application procedure is processed without hot-work to ensure construction safety. This application is completed within 6 hours and the pipelines return to full strength after 48 hours.
