Application Method
The application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet MPT-6.
Belzona Facts
The rudder stock running in this 57.5" diameter bearing weighs 62 tons and the displacement of the 26 knots fast combat support ship was 58,300 tons. The repair was in perfect condition at the last recorded inspection 17 years later (vessel is now decommissioned).
Subsequently, in 1985 a sister ship had a similar repair.
