Application Situation
The desulfurization and denitrification pump experienced chemical corrosion and erosion caused by corrosive media during the process of transporting fluid. Because of the lack of protection or failed anti-corrosion treatment, the pump was seriously corroded, which caused potential safety risks.
Application Method
Application carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet CEP-3 and CEP-5.
Belzona Facts
The asset owner used patch welding to repair the leaking pump previously which could only help for a short period of time. After using Belzona to repair and protect the pump, which requires a short application window, the leakage is repaired and the internal part of the pump casing was effectively protected for the long-term.
