Problem: Slippage problem, especially on the main entrance of the building. The client had tried unsuccessfully to combat the problem by nailing chicken wire to the timber decking, which caused extra trip hazards.

Application Method
The application was carried out using a modified version of the Belzona Know-How System Leaflet FPA-8. The Belzona® 5811 was mixed with 50% of Belzona® 9221.
Belzona Facts
Following this initial area being treated a water spillage occurred half on the decking and half on the Belzona Deck Grip. It was noted that the timber decked area was extremely slippery and hazardous whereas the area covered with the Belzona Deck Grip gave excellent grip properties even when soaked with water.
