Problem: A small felt roof over a section of the canteen was in need of repair. The felt system had degraded to the point where rainwater is now entering the building.

Application Situation

Application Method
The repair area was pressure washed substrate leaving a clean sound surface. Fungicidal wash was then be scrubbed into the surface and left to dry as per instructions. Localised concrete repairs to the flashings were then completed using Belzona 4141. Two coats of Belzona 3131 incorporating reinforcing sheet were then applied to complete the application. Belzona 9361 reinforcing sheet was used on general roof areas and Belzona 9351 reinforcing sheet on problem areas where exceptional elasticity is required such as the upstands. The application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet RPA-7 and RPA-8.
