Restoration of a tank external using several composite SuperWrap II patches.
施工方法
This application was carried out in accordance with a modified version of system leaflet VPF-11. The substrate of the tank was cleaned and prepared using spark proof tools to achieve a good surface profile for the Belzona to bond to. A SuperWrap II patch was then bonded onto the defected area with Belzona 1221.

The application was carried out and the tank was back in service within 2 days thanks to the Belzona solution. The patches were also very easy to apply onsite as they offered a lightweight solution in comparison to applying a metal plate.
