Application Situation:

Marshalls paving slabs had been installed on a domestic walkway as step treads. These slabs had started to deteriorate through wear, age & weathering. The slabs had lost their original colour & now had a dull appearance. The slabs were then replaced at the expense of the installer but after a further six years the replacements had also deteriorated. A permenant solution was required.

Problem:

Removing & replacing the paving slabs would have been a highly disruptive & costly undertaking. A durable & aesthetically pleasing repair solution was required that could be applied to the slabs whilst they remained in place.

Application Method:

The Belzona 4111 Base was colour matched to the original Marshalls paving slabs using the Grey/Sandstone shades & cement pigments. Belzona 4911 TX Conditioner was applied to the areas followed by the mixed Belzona 4111 Magma Quartz.

Belzona Facts:

By using the Belzona solution there was no need for the removal of the existing paving slabs. These slabs could remain in place whilst being protected by a hard wearing & aesthetically pleasing material.
